The AI Evaluator (Construction Operations & Management) applies hands-on construction and project oversight expertise to evaluate, validate, and improve AI-generated content related to construction planning, cost estimating, scheduling, site operations, safety, and project controls. This role ensures AI outputs are practical, accurate, and aligned with real-world construction practices.
As an AI Evaluator, you will review and assess AI-generated responses, scenarios, and analyses involving construction estimating, site supervision, and project management. You will identify cost inaccuracies, schedule risks, safety gaps, and unrealistic assumptions, providing structured feedback to improve AI model reliability and usefulness in construction and infrastructure contexts. Key responsibilities include: - Evaluating AI-generated content related to cost estimating, construction sequencing, site supervision, and project management - Validating accuracy of quantities, cost logic, scheduling assumptions, and resource planning - Assessing the realism of construction scenarios, productivity rates, and risk considerations - Applying structured evaluation rubrics to score AI outputs and recommend improvements - Flagging safety concerns, constructability issues, or misleading project guidance - Providing expert feedback to support the continuous improvement of AI performance in construction settings
Professional background in construction, such as: - Cost Estimator - First-Line Supervisor of Construction Trades or Extraction Workers - Construction Manager - 4+ years of professional experience in construction operations, supervision, estimating, or project management - Strong understanding of construction methods, cost controls, scheduling, and site safety practices - Experience working on active construction sites or managing construction projects - Ability to critically evaluate technical and operational content and provide structured written feedback - High attention to detail, practical judgment, and safety awareness - Comfortable working remotely and reviewing written, scenario-based, or analytical content - Preferred (but not required): - Experience with project controls, budgeting, or scheduling tools (e.g., CPM-based planning) - Familiarity with safety standards, inspections, or compliance requirements - Exposure to training, mentoring, or reviewing technical documentation - Interest in AI, automation, or digital tools in construction Compensation Per completed evaluation task (rate may vary based on scope and complexity)
