The AI Evaluator (Nuclear Engineering & Reactor Operations) applies real-world nuclear industry expertise to assess, validate, and improve AI-generated content related to nuclear systems, reactor operations, safety protocols, regulatory compliance, and engineering decision-making. This role ensures AI outputs are technically accurate, operationally realistic, and aligned with industry standards.
As an AI Evaluator, you will review and evaluate AI-generated responses, simulations, scenarios, and technical explanations involving nuclear engineering and reactor operations. You will identify inaccuracies, edge cases, safety risks, and logical gaps, and provide structured feedback to improve model performance. Your professional judgment will help align AI behavior with real-world nuclear operations, regulatory expectations, and safety culture.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nuclear Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline 4+ years of professional experience as a Nuclear Engineer or Nuclear Power Reactor Operator Strong understanding of reactor systems, nuclear safety, operations, and regulatory frameworks Experience working in operational, engineering, or safety-focused nuclear environments Ability to analyze technical content critically and articulate clear, structured feedback High attention to detail, judgment, and risk awareness Comfort working remotely and evaluating written, simulated, or scenario-based content Preferred (but not required): - Experience with regulatory compliance, safety analysis, or operations oversight - Exposure to training, technical documentation, audits, or evaluations - Interest in AI, automation, or emerging technologies in high-risk industries Compensation Per completed evaluation task (rate may vary based on scope and complexity)
